What is Wi-Fi Calling? How do I enable it?
Wi-Fi Calling is a built-in feature that lets you make calls and send texts over Wi-Fi. It’s already included with your service at no extra cost.

  1. Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Search for Wi-Fi Calling.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling and turn it on.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete setup.
Important: To use this feature, you must use a device that is Wi-Fi Calling capable. During setup, you will be asked to enter or confirm your emergency address. This helps emergency responders locate you if you call 911 using Wi-Fi Calling.
Can I use Wi-Fi Calling when I’m traveling?
Yes, it’s incredibly helpful when traveling abroad or anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection. With Wi-Fi Calling, you don’t need an international plan or add-on. Once it’s enabled on your phone and connected to Wi-Fi, you can call and text with U.S. numbers, free of roaming or international charges.
